Melbourne is a very pretty city (i might add though, only on most days). When the weather is fine - the sun's out and it's not too windy or cold. The sun in this city seems to always be at perfect angles to the buildings, making all of them, old or new look even prettier than they are often meant to be. This city takes my breath away most times when I get to just sit and stare at it.

Today was one of those wake- up-early days because we (meaning alex, my cousin and I) were on a mission. Top-secret at the moment because what goes on in Melbourne very much stays in this country and I plead ignorance to everything that might transpire later on in our lives. heh. I love the smell of freshly brewed lattes and flat whites coupled with the smell of scrambled eggs and people (many many many of them) lounging along the sidewalks in the sun enjoying saturday afternoon. That's how life ought to be like. It ought not to be bustling all the time but everyone deserves a break two days of the week to sit down and have breakfast. I like many things in life, but I only love a few and having a good cup of tea or coffee with great company is one of those few great loves. Melbourne gave me an opportunity to do that.

I'm very much in love with this city. With it's museums and parks and lovely weather (only at this time of the year and i might regret saying this tomorrow if it's filthy cold.) This might actually do for a while.

These new stiletto pump type things are amazing because they make me feel so tall and great - i love how wearing stilettos don't have to so painful on the knees now (ala Carrie in SATC) because the wedge fronts make them so much more wearable. And the best thing about it all is that because Nick is tall enough to still be taller than me when i wear these heels, I can still wear them when I go out with him. hee.:) I just now, have to save enough money to buy them - so many choices, but a little lack of purchasing power at the moment. ha.
