Leo Lessons

Lesson 1: s. 39 of the Wills Act 1997 states that all beneficiaries must survive the testator by at least thirty days.

Lesson 2: Order 22.02 empowers the Court to grant summary judgement in interlocutory applications.

As much as we, as lawyers, through the process of law school and training learn how to tell untruths in such a way that they could be accepted as truths in those not in the known, it's not very nice to get caught not knowing in the middle of proceedings.

gah. lest we forget!
